Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 5, 2026
This policy describes information handled through JasonCaston.com, Jason Caston’s personal portfolio. It covers this website and its contact form. The project websites and LinkedIn have separate privacy practices.
Information you share
If you use the contact form, I receive your name, email address and message. I use them to reply and keep track of our conversation. Sending a message does not add you to a mailing list. Please avoid sending passwords, payment details, health information or other sensitive personal information.
Hosting, delivery and spam prevention
Vercel hosts this site and processes technical request information, which can include IP addresses, request times, browser information and requested URLs, to serve pages, maintain logs and protect against misuse. The form passes your message through Vercel to Formspree for spam screening and delivery to my email inbox. My email provider also processes delivered messages.
These providers process information under their own policies: Vercel Privacy Notice, Formspree Privacy Policy and Google Privacy Policy.
Cookies and tracking
This site does not install advertising trackers or visitor analytics, and it does not embed social feeds or videos. Images and fonts are served with the site. Hosting security and authenticated preview services may use cookies or similar technology. If you follow a project or social link, that destination’s policies apply. You can manage cookies through your browser settings.
Sharing and retention
I do not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising. Information is shared with providers needed to host, protect and deliver the site or messages, or when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights and safety.
Messages may remain in Formspree’s submission archive and my inbox. I keep correspondence as needed to respond, maintain relevant records and meet legal obligations. Archive limits, provider logs and backup retention can differ; expiration from one system does not erase copies elsewhere.
Your choices and requests
You can choose not to submit the form. To ask about your information or request access, correction or deletion, use the contact section and identify your message as a privacy request. You can also contact me on LinkedIn. I may need to verify a request, and applicable law may require or permit some records to be retained. Your legal rights depend on where you live.
Security, location and children
Access controls, encrypted connections and spam controls help protect the site and messages. Internet transmission and storage cannot be guaranteed completely secure. Information may be processed in the United States and other places where the providers operate.
This portfolio is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact me so I can address it.
Policy updates
I may update this policy when the site or its practices change. The date above identifies the latest revision.
